Hi! I'm Allison.
Ever since summer camp, I've been smitten with the trail, but I didn't grow up an endurance athlete. I believe we're all capable of much more than we think we are and that pushing ourselves can reward us with life-changing experiences and expand what we believe we are capable of.
I've hiked since I was a kid, started running in my 30s, and began racing ultramarathons at 36. As much as I love the adrenaline and camaraderie of race day, my true joy is traveling around the world to explore the world on foot.
You can still find me racing anything from a road 10k to a mountainous 50k, but my true mountain calling is adventuring through new places with new people where the goal is joy over speed.
Today I live in Bend, Oregon. When not on the trail you can find me in the kitchen making sourdough bagels or creating weird ferments, reading, or working my day job as a people consultant.
